They’re five little relics.

All five are vintage Zuni works featuring beautiful Blue Gem turquoise, one of the most beloved Nevada mines, prized for its bright robin’s-egg blue color and fine-grained material. During the mid-20th century, Blue Gem became a favorite among Zuni artists because its consistent color allowed intricate needlepoint and petit point compositions to truly shine. These pieces capture that golden era of Zuni craftsmanship, when patience mattered more than speed and dozens of perfectly matched stones were set one by one by hand.
