Every collection has a piece that quietly resets your expectations.

This is one of mine.

At first glance, the stone almost seems too perfect. That unmistakable Ithaca Peak turquoise glows with an electric blue that’s so pure it hardly looks real. Then, as the light shifts, ribbons of warm bronze begin to emerge beneath the surface, reminding you that this color wasn’t created in a studio—it was born deep beneath the Arizona desert.

Ronald Tom understood that a stone like this doesn’t need to compete with elaborate silverwork.

It needs a stage.

Graceful hand-formed scrolls rise around the cabochon like desert winds curling through canyon walls, while subtle repoussé accents and a heavy twisted-wire bezel hold everything together with effortless balance. Every detail whispers instead of shouts.

The stone carries the conversation.

The silver simply knows its role.

At 24 grams, this is an everyday relic with extraordinary pedigree—refined enough to wear constantly, remarkable enough to become the ring people remember.

Ithaca Peak is celebrated for producing some of the most vivid blue turquoise in the American Southwest. Here, the brilliant blue is interrupted by warm bronze matrix, creating a striking contrast that feels less like a pattern and more like desert fire glowing beneath an open sky.

Eric’s Notes from the Field

I have a weakness for Ithaca Peak.

Actually…

I have a weakness for artists who know when they’ve already won.

Ronald could have kept adding silver.

Another flower.

Another scroll.

Another stamp.

Instead, he stopped the moment the stone became the hero.

That’s restraint.

And restraint is usually the hardest thing for any artist to learn.

This ring reminds me why I chase material as much as I chase makers. Great artists deserve great stones, and great stones deserve artists who know when to simply get out of the way.

Some relics tell stories.

Others become them.

This one will do both.
